Curative Behavioral

All aspects of who you are connect and affect one another. Curative Behavioral focuses on treating every part of you and extending along those connections.

How does Curative Behavioral approach behavioral health? We practice treating the whole person, not just one issue they are facing. Your mental health is connected to every piece of your life because your thoughts, emotions, and even physical sensations are guided by your mind. Treating only your thoughts might leave openings for other problems to continue.

That’s why Curative Behavioral focuses on your overall lifestyle too. Your physical health can play a key role in treatment and recovery from a mental health disorder, so by placing a focus on physical and mental wellness, we’re able to help give you the best chance possible for a positive outcome in long-term recovery.

Sometimes, though, you might feel “off” and not know why. It’s not uncommon. If you feel like something is wrong, or your life isn’t rolling along the tracks you think it should be, asking someone else to take a look can be a big step in the right direction. A fresh perspective can shed light on things you weren’t able to see.

Curative Behavioral is not all about mental health treatment and recovery, however. We can also help someone who is struggling with substance use disorder (SUD). You will find all of the services you need to treat yourself holistically through our clinic right here in Scottsdale.

Just like with mental/behavioral health, SUD affects more than one aspect of your life. Achieving long-term sobriety is only one part of your recovery. We also want you to think about why you were struggling with SUD and that is why we are here to help you discover the answer.

Not only do mental health and substance use problems occur independently, but they can be co-occurring as well, which means someone is struggling with both at once. Our whole-person treatment approach not only addresses any substance use issues you may be struggling with, but it also addresses any underlying root causes that can make up the basis for addiction.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in the United States, there are millions of Americans facing substance use disorder, and approximately half of those people are also facing a mental health disorder, whether they know it or not. We believe that by offering whole person care, we can treat any and all underlying conditions that may be leading to substance use.

Whether you are struggling with mental health, substance use disorder, or both, we’re here to help. Possibly you aren’t even sure what your struggle is called, you might feel like you need help but aren’t sure how to ask, or even what to ask. We are here to help with it all.

The behavioral health care we offer uses evidence-based treatments to look at you as a complex, whole person. Among our treatment options and recovery paths for patients are behavioral health services (such as counseling and therapy), medication management, and more.

You are a unique person, so you should have unique treatment options.

Success Stories

“The staff is amazing and treats you like you are family. The sobriety they have working there is top notch to learn from and the counseling helped me get to root causes of my issues. I highly recommend them! Thank you Curative Behavioral!”

Wade

"Professional and compassionate! As a current patient at PPIC, I am treated as a human, not just “another patient”. My treatment plan is realistic and we have adjusted as needed and I believe this is how I will be 100% successful, especially comparing from the past “care” I’ve received. They have gone above and beyond to help me and I trust her. I feel safe and so grateful for her care thus far."

FAQs

What is whole person care?

The practice of treating the whole person, not just one issue they are facing. We all have mental health and it is a kind of control center for our life because our thoughts, emotions, and even physical sensations are guided by your mind. Whole person care takes all of that into account, because treating only one part of who you are could leave openings for other problems to continue.

That’s why Curative Behavioral focuses on your overall lifestyle too. Physical health is also important for treatment and recovery from a mental health disorder, so by placing a focus on physical and mental wellness, whole person care is set up to achieve the best outcome in long-term recovery.

Curative Behavioral looks at a person as complex and knows you can’t necessarily just treat one thing without having to look at how it will affect the rest of someone’s life.

How fast can I get care?

Beginning today, you can call us to schedule a consultation to discuss options that are available to you. From there, we can schedule a timeline for your treatment journey to begin. Do not hesitate — call today!

How much does treatment cost?

At Curative Behavioral, we accept most major health insurance plans. We believe treatment should be available to everyone, so we accept insurance from providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, AmeriBen, Beacon Health, and ComPsych.

Do you accept self-pay?

We accept most major health insurance plans, and we also have self-pay rates for those without insurance to align with our core belief that everyone should be able to receive treatment.

How long are your programs?

What addictions do you treat?

We treat substance use disorders, co-occurring substance disorders, and all levels of addiction to methamphetamine, opioids, cocaine, alcohol, and more. Our goal in treatment is to make sure we treat you as a whole and not just the addiction. Our team of master’s-level therapists and medical professionals will work to find the root of your substance use disorder.

Will my employer find out I’m in treatment?

In outpatient treatment, how much you share outside of treatment will be your decision. If you decide you would like your employer to know about the courageous step you are taking in your life, that is your decision to make.
