Frequently Asked Questions
What is whole person care?
The practice of treating the whole person, not just one issue they are facing. We all have mental health and it is a kind of control center for our life because our thoughts, emotions, and even physical sensations are guided by your mind. Whole person care takes all of that into account, because treating only one part of who you are could leave openings for other problems to continue.
That’s why Curative Behavioral focuses on your overall lifestyle too. Physical health is also important for treatment and recovery from a mental health disorder, so by placing a focus on physical and mental wellness, whole person care is set up to achieve the best outcome in long-term recovery.
Curative Behavioral looks at a person as complex and knows you can’t necessarily just treat one thing without having to look at how it will affect the rest of someone’s life.
